Pop-Up Choir
Do you like to sing..praise the Lord in song? Pop-up Choirs are created for special church times including Christmas and Easter.
The choir meets about once a week for about 6 weeks before we share our voices with the Congregation during service.

Altar Guild
Have you ever wondered how Communion is managed? There are teams of members who sign up.
Commitment is 2 months a year, spaced 6 months apart. You and your team members share setting-up the Altar on Saturdays and before Holidays with Communion, reset the Altar after Saturday night service, and put away after Sunday Service.

Ushers
One of the many ways to serve the Lord is being a Usher during Saturday night or Sunday service.
Duties include greeting members and guests at the door, providing Bulletins, passing the donation plate, guide people at communion, and providing help to anyone who may need it during service.

Altar Flowers
Would you like to provide flowers for the Altar in Thanksgiving for a Gift the Lord has given you or in memory of a loved on?
There are 2 flower arrangements each week at a cost of $25 for each, $50 for both.
Sign-up is done on the Flower chart posted in the Narthex.

School Lunch Monitor
Volunteers are needed to help monitor school lunch. It is 1/2 hour a week on a rotating schedule.
The instructions and sign-up sheet are on the bulleting board.

School Lunch Kitchen Help
Is one of the gifts and joys the Lord given you cooking? Do you enjoy young people?
Hot lunch is provided to Good Shepherd students twice a week. Your help in preparing these lunches would be greatly appreciated.

Lectors
An opportunity to participate in Service is by volunteering to be a Lector; reading the Bible to the Congregation during Service

Coffee Service
Sharing Fellowship is one of the rewards of belonging to Good Shepherd.
One of the ways we share this fellowship is by having coffee and something sweet after service.
Would you like to help with this? Volunteers start the coffee pots and set out the tables before service, serve right after service, then clean-up.

Vacation Bible School
Good Shepherd outreaches to the children of the Congregation and the community with Vacation Bible School. This weekly-long event is held the first week of August in the mornings.
It takes many volunteers for this activity. Help is needed before the week to set-up, decorate, and announce the event to the community. Many hands are needed that week for registration, leading the children, helping serve snacks, taking pictures, leading singing, and more.

Card Caring Ministry
Sending cards is a wonderful way to tell someone that we are thinking about them.
Would you like to help? The Card Caring Ministry is a team of people, each of whom takes one month of the year, and sends out cards to Congregation members on the prayer list, letting them know we are thinking about them and praying for them.

Shawl Ministry

Do you like to know or crochet? You can help this ministry in knitting shawls for those who have lost a loved one.

Prayer Chain

One of the greatest gifts the Lord has given us is prayer. We know that He always hears us when we pray.
Would you like to join us in prayer? The list of those needing prayers is sent out weekly...the request is that you pray once a day for those on the list.

Funeral Luncheon Help
Good Shepherd provides a luncheon for family and friends after a funeral.
The generous donations start with a phone call from a list of volunteers.
Would you be willing to help? You can help by making a dish, setting up for the luncheon, helping to serve and clean-up.

Trustees
Have you ever wondered who mowed the lawn, fixed the broken board, makes sure the roof is sound? These are the duties of the hardworking Trustees. Do you like working in the yard? Are you handy at fixing things? Or do you like lending a hand? If so, the Trustees can use your help.
